Summer 2010 Program
The Montessori Center for early Learning, Inc. offers an (8) week Summer program beginning Monday June 28, 2010 ending on August 20, 2010. This is a great way for those entering the Fall program for the first time or those considering the program to become acquainted with what Montessori is really like.
The Montessori Center is not affiliated with, but is located in the school building of the Trumbull Congregational Church at 3115 Reservoir avenue Trumbull Center.
Full Day—hours: 8:00 AM until 5:00PM Monday through Friday.
Half-Day—hours: 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon or 1:00PM to 5:00PM.
Children registered for half day program may join the full day children for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 (See fee schedule for "lunch bunch" fee).
Lunch/Snacks—Children bring their lunch. The Montessori Center will furnish nutritious morning and afternoon snacks and refreshing drinks.
Age —Children ages (3) through (6) years of age.
Program Content—The curriculum will be in the Montessori format. There will also be out-of-doors activities on the school grounds, weather permitting. The academic curriculum will include math, reading, writing, geography, etc. Included will be arts and crafts. There will be nature treks around the school grounds, movement exercises and gardening. Field trips to nearby programs of interest such as the garbage museum may also be included.
- FEE SCHEDULE-
REGISTRATION— $50.00 must accompany application
FULL DAY—$275.00 per week
HALF DAY—@165.00 per week
DROP IN—$75.00 full day or $50.00 half day
"LUNCH BUNCH"—$40.00 per week or $10.00 per day
*Modest fees may be assessed for field trips.
DISCOUNTS—A discount of 10% applies to those who sign up for the entire eight weeks. A discount of 10% applies to all children in the same family, if more than one attends at the same time.
